"Over the past 15 years (as at 2009) I have collected many dahlia awards at County and Regional level. I have placed some photographs on this page showing how my dahlias look when staged on the bench. A culmination of hard work, bundles of enthusiasm, experience, willingness to always learn, and sheer pleasure".
Among the highlights has to be the year 2006 where for the first and only time at The CDS/WCDC four shows I achieved all 'Best Exhibit In Show' and '2nd Best Exhibit In Show' awards, all 'Best Vase In Show' awards, all 'Best Bloom In Show' awards, plus other class trophies. The moral here is to accept defeat gracefully and enjoy exhibiting the dahlia".
